Charles T. Woolston, CPA, MST, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Salvus Wealth Management has over 35 years of experience in advising high net worth individuals and corporations in areas of wealth management such as: investment management, retirement planning, estate planning and executive financial counseling. He is a member of the firm's Management Committee and Investment Strategy Team.
In 2016 Chuck founded Woolston Consulting, LLC, a regional certified public accounting (CPA) and consulting firm located in Red Bank, New Jersey and leads the Tax & Wealth Services Group. From 2009 through June 2016, Chuck was a partner at CPA firm Cowan, Gunteski & Co., P.A., in charge of the high net worth individuals group. Previously Chuck was managing partner and co-founder of Woolston, Koerner & Co., LLC, a regional certified public accounting (CPA) and consulting firm. Chuck has focused his practice primarily on tax law, compliance, planning & research, business management & strategic planning and investment planning & oversight.
A licensed New Jersey CPA, Mr. Woolston is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Federal Tax Division, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, for which he has served on various committees, and the NJSCPA’s Monmouth/Ocean County Chapter. Mr. Woolston is a member of the boards of trustees for the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ. He holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Chuck is a lifelong resident of the “Jersey Shore.” He is an avid boater and can often be found cruising the Long Island Sound and New England waters.
