We take great pride in our ability to evaluate and select third-party investment managers for managing our client’s portfolios. Our job is to assemble a combination of “boutique” managers designed to create a portfolio that will best meet the specific needs and goals of our clients. We define “boutique” as managers that tend to be smaller in size of assets managed and more niche oriented in the focus of their investment strategy. Our belief is that these types of managers provide the best probabilities of generating long-term outperformance while maintaining a prudent regard for risk management. We look for the following qualities when selecting a manager:
